OJO SET FOR WOLVES SWITCH
Liverpool's England U18 winger Sheyi Ojo is set for a season-long loan switch to Championship side Wolves, according to the Daily Mirror.



SPURS DEFENDER ON BARCA’S RADAR
Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Monaco’s Aymen Abdennour are on Barcelona’s defensive shortlist, reports Sport.
The Camp Nou giants want to bring in an experienced left-footed centre-back during this transfer window and Monaco’s Abdennour is their top target. The Tunisia international is available for €25m but Barca feel they could secure his services for a lower fee. The player himself has publicly expressed his desire to move to the Camp Nou.
According to Sport, Barca are unlikely to open negotiations with Monaco until they have sold Manchester United target Pedro, and they want €30m for the Spain forward.
Vertonghen, the Belgium international, is a long-term target for Barca and would also offer the ability to provide cover at left-back too, which would be particularly useful as Brazilian Adriano is expected to join Roma in a €6m deal.

ABEID TO FORTUNA DUSSELDORF
Fortuna Dusseldorf general manager Rachid Azzouzi refused to rule out a move for Newcastle midfielder Mehdi Abeid.
Reports in France claimed the Bundesliga 2 outfit were close toreaching an agreement with Newcastle for the Algeria A international, who is under contract at St James’ Park until Hune 2016.
However, Rachid refused to commect on an potential deal for the 22-year-old.
He told BILD: "I have been told about this rumour, still I do not intend to comment nor confirm this."
CITY FACE BATTLE TO KEEP LOPES
Manchester City face a battle to keep hold of highly-rated Marcos Lopes with a number of Ligue 1 sides interested in his signature, reports the Daily Mail.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and according to reports Lyon, Monaco and Marseille are all interested in the attacking midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Lille.
The Daily Mail suggests two of those Ligue 1 sides have made enquiries over a permanent deal for Lopes.
GRIEZMANN FOCUSED ON ATLETICO
France intenrational Antoine Griezmann insists he is solely focused on life at Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old shone after joining Atletico from Real Sociedad last summer, managing 25 goals in all competitions in his debut season at the Calderon club. That form prompted interest in him from across the Continent – Bayern Munich and Chelsea were linked with a move for him earlier this summer.
Despite the speculation, Griezmann insists no formal offers arrived and says he plans to stay at Atletico.
When asked about interest in him from other teams, he told AS: “Nothing from anyone reached me and I repeat that I only want to help the team. I only think about Atletico. I have just arrived at this club and I want to grow even more with Atletico. Therefore my thoughts are fixed here.”
